Hallows the Yellow Brick Road

It’s Halloween!  We visited OZ!  Here’s a look at our adventures down the yellow brick road:

Cyrus really enjoyed walking from house to house trick-or-treating.  He loved doing that more than receiving candy, since he has not yet been seduced by sugary sweets.  Although he does love Grandma’s cookies.  When I opened the package with my costume in it, glitter went everywhere.  Like the comedian Demetri Martin says, “If you get it on you, be prepared to have it on you forever ’cause glitter is the herpes of craft supplies.”  Allie’s costume was a little -ok a lot – tight, and he couldn’t even zip the back all the way up.  It looked great from the front, but the guy walking behind him offered Allie money for a massage.

That actually didn’t happen.

Cyrus looked adorable in his Flying Monkey costume, and the fleece fabric kept him cozy on an otherwise nippy evening.  A good time had by all!
